Hello – I'm Erin, the founder of Fran’s Daughter.

My approach to working with clients is a unique blend of professional expertise and heartfelt service. Over my 30-year career as a small business owner and a non-profit executive, I've honed my skills in financial management and organization. But the true cornerstone of my work? That comes from my mother, Fran Carney. My mom was a consummate hostess with an eagle eye for detail and a heart full of joy. She taught me that a warm smile, an attentive ear, and a gracious spirit are the foundations of comfort and care. These lessons have become the heart of my professional philosophy.

Before founding Fran’s Daughter, I owned and operated Brooklyn Creative League (BCL), a mission-based coworking space that was home to a thriving community of professionals. As the co-founder of a $1.5MM business, I had a hand in every aspect of building and running the business, including bookkeeping and fiscal management, corporate regulations and records, operations, and facilities oversight. Prior to BCL, I enjoyed a 15-year career in the nonprofit sector. Over the years, I had various roles as an executive, supervisor, and consultant to direct social service, social justice, and arts organizations. 

While I am proud of my career accomplishments, my most valuable credential is my commitment to treating you and your family with the same care and respect I would my own family. Whether it's managing complex financial tasks, or ensuring important documents are in order, I bring a calm, empathetic approach to every challenge.
